DiggerTraining.com is the trading name of Result Training Ltd, an NPORS and RTITB accredited training provider.

2. Bookings

  • We accept verbal bookings; however, all bookings must be confirmed in writing. Acceptable forms of confirmation include:
  • A confirmation letter on your company headed paper
  • An official purchase order
  • Confirmation can be provided by email, post, or fax.
  • By confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

3. Payment Terms

  • All course fees are payable in advance of training commencing.
  • Certificates and documentation are issued only upon:
  • Successful completion of the course, and
  • Receipt of full payment.

4. Cancellations & Non-Attendance

  • Once payment is received, fees are non-refundable (including deposits).
  • If our instructor attends your site but cannot deliver training due to:
  • Insufficient facilities,
  • Equipment failure, or
  • Any other factor under your responsibility, the full course fee remains payable.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule training due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, extreme weather). In such cases, alternative dates will be offered.

5. Trainee Requirements

Age Restrictions

  • Agriculture and Horticulture: Must be above school leaving age.
  • Factories and Warehouses: Must be above school leaving age.
  • Construction Sites: Must be 18 years or older.

Fitness to Operate

  • Trainees must be physically capable of operating machinery safely.
  • Trainees must understand the risks and limitations of plant machinery.
  • Guidance on fitness is available from the HSE Employment Medical Advisory Service if needed.

6. Course Venue Requirements

For on-site training, the client must provide:

  1. A 360 excavator or mini digger (or relevant machine) in safe, operational condition, with a valid Certificate of Thorough Examination (if required).
  2. Sufficient materials for practical exercises (e.g., stackable loads, pallets, or aggregates).
  3. A designated training area separate from active work zones (preferably undercover where possible).
  4. Access to classroom space for theory lessons.
  5. Full attendance of all trainees for the duration of the course.
  6. Failure to meet these requirements may result in cancellation without refund.

7. Website Use

By using this website, you agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or exploit any part of the website without written permission from Result Training Ltd T/A DiggerTraining.com.
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes or solicit others to do so.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
  • We may update website content and terms without prior notice.

8. Liability

  • Result Training Ltd accepts no liability for:
  • Loss of earnings due to course cancellations, or
  • Injury/damage caused by misuse of equipment.
  • All trainees and employers are responsible for ensuring ongoing competency after training.

9. Non-Refundable Deposits

All deposits are strictly non-refundable, except where training is cancelled by Result Training Ltd.

10. Accreditation

  • All training is delivered in line with NPORS and RTITB standards.
  • Certificates are valid for the duration specified by the awarding body.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
